Administrative Coordinator
(Contractor, Approximately 20-hours/week)
The Alexandria Police Foundation (APF) is seeking a contractor to serve in the role of Administrative Coordinator. Responsibilities are estimated to take approximately 20-hours per week.
The contract requires professional handling of administrative and financial responsibilities, community outreach and coordination with the Alexandria Police Department (APD):
· Handle written and electronic communications (outgoing and response) to and among board members, with the Alexandria Police Department (APD) and the public
· Maintain electronic and hardcopy files and ensure shared access with the board president
· Attend, participate and provide support at APF board meetings and events
· Maintain the already established website and occasionally prepare and post on social media (for events and special initiatives)
· Endeavor to establish relations within the police department, particularly at APD headquarters on Wheeler Avenue.
